beautiful it its own right? Have you ever seen the old movie "Jason and the Argonauts" with the stop-motion giant statues? This is very reminiscent of that to me, mostly because it actually feels alive, like this picture was taked while its in mid stride through the waves.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic compositrion and obviously took a lot of effort, so many kudos to you. Only thing I can say critically is maybe get rid of the glare, flare to the left of the piece, its pulls far too much attention away from the magnificent center of attention.

So yes, great, EXCELLENT stuff. As always, I'm impressed.

Ray Harryhausen was a huge inspiration to me as a kid! His stop action animation techniques are still used today, especially in Claymation productions. I just love robots (as you can tell from my moniker) The flare was originally another small moon ( I wanted to balance the scene with it) but it seemed a bit lost & I settled on the flare instead. Agreed it is somewhat distracting from the main subject. I always learn something new when I put together a 3D scene. Especially applying textures. Stay tuned for more Robots, Angelic Hosts & other strange phenomenon!

The demand for metal is so great, they have to scavenge the sites of ancient robot battles.

Looks great.

The old rusting hulks are also a hazard to sea-going vessels as well!
